Day 01: Reach Chennai

Chennai is the largest city of South India which will be the first destination of your South India Tour Package. We will welcome you at Chennai International Airport and will transfer you to the hotel. Rest day is at your convenience. Spend your night at Chennai hotel.

Day 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram (40 kms; 01 hr drive)

Start your day with the sightseeing of the largest city of South that is Chennai. Quickly finish up with your morning meal and begin with visiting Fort St George, the national art gallery, the museum, St. Mary's church, Mylapore temple and last but not the least a drive along the famous beach marina. After that pack up and depart by road for Mahabalipuram. On your arrival, get into the hotel and rest. Spend a comfortable night at Mahabalipuram.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram

Proceed your day with full day exploration of the beautiful spots at Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram which are well famous for their sculptures, rock temples and the largest stone bas relief. The most attractive and beautiful is the Shore Temples which are most clicked monuments in the country. Spend the beautiful night at Mahabalipuram.

Day 04: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry – Thanjavur (230 kms; 05 hrs drive)

Next spot is to be at Thanjavur, so quickly leave from Mahabalipuram after your breakfast. On your way, so can also visit Pondicherry planned by India Car N Tours will embrace you with all the destinations coming on the way.  Do full sightseeing at this place by visiting The Aurbindo Ashram, The Matri mandir and Auroville. Later continue your ride towards Thanjavur. This place is renowned for the famous Brahadeeswara temple which has now become a World Heritage monument. As and when you reach Thanjavur, get into the hotel. Spend you night at Thanjavur.

Day 05: Thanjavur – Trichy (56 kms; 01 hrs drive)

Today, explore the Brahadeeswara and some other temples from Thanjavur. After that, Begin with the road trip towards the next destination named Trichy after you mid day meal at Thanjavur hotel. As and when you reach Trichy, check into the hotel. Later, you can explore Trichy by being on the rock fort temple and the island of Srirangam. Overnight relaxing stay at Trichy.

Day 06: Trichy – Madurai (142 kms; 03 hrs drive)

Get up with exciting mood and take your morning meal. Leave for Madurai which is well known for its grand rich culture, heritage and historical background. The only place you will visit is Meenakshi Temple. On your arrival, check-in to the hotel. By late evening experience the ritual ceremony at Meenakshi Temple. Spend a peaceful stay in Madurai.

Day 07: Madurai

Morning meal at hotel and begin with excursing Madurai by visiting spots such as the teppa kulum, the Shree Meenakshi temple and Tirumalainaik palace. Late afternoon is at leisure. Spend another night in Madurai.

Day 08: Madurai – Chennai departure
